We do have a big warehouse but we are not a thrift store like so many of you are used to. Please help us keep to our mission and be zero waste by only donating goods our clients can use. Couches and coffee pots are wonderful but we cannot accept: used toys, vases, pictures, candles or anything else decorative or fancy. See the complete list below. All items must be fully functional and hygienic including all cushions and legs and no rust. Many of our families have young children so safety comes first.

Things NOT accepted: desks, drop side cribs, used toys, console TV’s, large furniture that will not fit in a minivan, baskets, wine glasses, pictures, file cabinets, office furniture, anything broken damaged or dirty, sports gear, athletic equipment or cleats. Nothing that requires any installation including light fixtures and wall shelving. Please no window blinds, valences of any kind or any other custom fit goods. No used dirty trash cans, toilet brushes, plungers or anything else under $5 in value and dirty.
$5 recycling fee for the following (working or not): TV’s ($20 for heavy ones 19″ or more – no console TV’s) Outdated electronics such as record players or cassette players, computers, CPU’s (limit 3), printers, non-working washers, dryers, refrigerators and fax machines. Please be kind and tell us if it does not work.
Mattresses and Bed Frames: Twin, Full, Queen, NO KING, NO water beds, NO PLATFORM BEDS, NO HOSPITAL BEDS. We welcome large hotel donations of mattress. We welcome bunk beds, futons, toddler beds, daybeds and trundles. We welcome futon sets or frames, bunk beds, daybeds, cots and air mattresses. No platform beds, captains beds or waterbeds.
Clothing: All seasons and sizes including shoes, coats, belts, bras, ties, baby clothing and dresses. Please do not donate used underwear or socks.
Kitchen Tables ad Dinette Sets: We welcome sets or pairs of chairs. No large hutches or china cabinets. No single kitchen chairs. Must be sturdy and fully functional. If it only needs paint or a screw, please paint it first.
Bedding: We welcome sheets, curtains that cover welcome, towels, shower curtains, new liners (no used liners), comforters, (no duvet covers or down comforters), blankets, bathroom rugs, area rugs if clean (no pet hair or mold). Towels are always welcome (we are not picky about wear on towels). Most clients do not have washing machines. No valences or mini-blinds.
Small and Medium Appliances, Basic Kitchen Goods: AC’s (in summer), heaters (in winter), fans, lamps, microwaves (we never have enough of these), hand mixers, hair dryers, curling irons, coffee makers, sewing machines, clocks, clock radios, irons, toaster ovens, toasters. We cannot accept chandeliers, ceiling fans or wall sconces.
Large Appliances: We welcome them working or not for $5 but please tell us if they are broken so we do not give them out. Please include power cords and hoses. Let us know if it is known to be broken, but it is welcome for $5 either way. They are very easy for us to recycle.
Electronics: Computers are only accepted from corporate lot donations. Home PC’s can be recycled for $5. We welcome working game systems, MP3/4′s, walk-mans, alarm clocks, radios, boom boxes and DVD’s. If it is current and useful with today’s media we can take it. If it is not we can recycle it. CPU’s, and computer monitors are accepted (less than 3 at once) for $5 recycling fee.
$5 RECYCLING FEE FOR OUTDATED ELECTRONICS including stereo turntables, cassette decks VCR’s, printers, scanners, typewriters, record players etc. No console TV’s. They are mixed media and hard to recycle.
