One year old Jeremiah visited the warehouse this week with his mom and caseworker. Mom was there to get clothing for her family. While mom picked out clothes Jeremiah sat in a shopping cart and kept the volunteers enthralled with his beautiful smile. Ashley from Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children stopped in today to pick up some basic items for one of her participants. This participant is a first time teen mom who was living in her car at the time. With Ashley's help she is getting into a shelter and getting the basic necessities for her baby to be including a newborn basket and a car seat and stroller. We are so grateful to our generous donors that make it possible for our partner agencies and their clients to get the things they need. ...

It's not often that our donors and clients cross paths and one has the opportunity to thank the other for the donations they receive. Today was one of those days. A donor was dropping off their donations including some winter blankets and 2 clients were leaving with clothing for their family. Lori offered them some blankets as they left and they were thrilled to get them. They got to thank the donor for the blankets themselves. We are always happy to accept thanks from our clients for what we give them but it's nothing compared to seeing a donor get thanked for the items they donated.
