Staff ready to help

Lori, Dianne and Grace wait at the dock for the next client or donor to pull up for their emergency items or to drop off a donation. Clearly they miss the volunteers and clients and are bored of their own company. Lori said they are hoping the next car that pulls up will have toilet paper or cleaning products so we can fill more clients requests. Jill said we are critically low on toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap and laundry soap that our clients don’t have the resources for at this time. The demand for our emergency items is very high. Added to our usual clients we have now seen an increase in requests from families who are struggling due to unexpected job loss because of the pandemic. We are trying very hard to meet everyone’s needs as long as this lasts. If you have any emergency supplies of diapers, toiletries, disinfecting, sanitizing products or paper goods and can drop off at the warehouse please email and Jill will get back to you to schedule a day and time for drop off. If you prefer to shop online we have an Amazon wish list where you can purchase our most pressing items and ship direct to us… . Thank you for sharing with friends, family, neighbors and anyone that might have an item to donate. We are grateful for our community that continues to support our neighbors.

  1. Are u back to collecting clothes, kitchen items, etc?
    Thanks, Valerie Faubel

    • Thank you for asking. We are currently accepting new items. We are actively preparing the warehouse to receive used goods. We are waiting on receiving the sanitizing items we need to disinfect any used donations we receive. We hope to be able to start receiving used donations in a month. We will update our Facebook page with the information about what we can accept and when as soon as we know. Thank you for your patience with this process.
