Wish welcomes new Executive Director

The Wish Project Announces New Executive Director –
The Board of The Wish Project, a nonprofit furniture, clothing, and household goods bank based in Chelmsford and serving the Merrimack Valley, is pleased to announce the appointment of Alyce Moore as its new Executive Director effective September 1, 2020. Alyce has been a long-time Wish Project volunteer and supporter, and she was a terrific candidate for this position. The Board looks forward to supporting her in this new role.
Alyce Moore was general counsel of Kronos Incorporated for 20 years before her retirement in 2019. She is an active contributor to the community, serving on the executive committee of the Merrimack Repertory Theater’s board of directors as well as chairing the theater’s committee on trustees and their human resources committee. She is a volunteer foster care case reviewer for the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families, a position she has held for more than 15 years, and she is president of the Board of the York (Maine) Community Services Association. Alyce is excited to serve as The Wish Project’s Executive Director. “I have been a donor, volunteer and supporter of The Wish Project for many years, beginning the first time that the Kronos law department volunteered there. I am happy to serve this wonderful organization that helps so many people in the Merrimack Valley. The Wish Project has an incredible staff, dedicated volunteers, and generous donors.”
Alyce lives in Lowell with her husband, John, who is very handy and can fix anything and who is very happy that Alyce is going back to work, as evidently, a little of her goes a long way, and their dog Jem, whom Alyce adores but who only has eyes for John.
